Center For Siouxland Elects 2009 Board & Officers

Center For Siouxland recently elected Officers for 2009 at its February Board Meeting. Chairperson for the Board of Directors is Russ Wermers, US Bank. Vice Chair is John Wagner, Wells Fargo Bank Iowa, N.A. Treasurer is Mike Horner, Siouxland Federal Credit Union. Secretary is Vickie Hirchert, Great West Casualty Co.

Returning Board Members include past chair Kevin McManamy, United Real Estate Solutions; Bob Houlihan, Houlihan & Associates; Mary Koster, Siouxland Chamber of Commerce; Rebecca Nelson, Rawlings, Nieland Law Firm; Cheryle Power, JD Gordon Advertising; Cruz Torres Jr., Western Iowa Tech Community College; Patrick Tott, Attorney at Law; and Sandy Wienhold, Siouxland Aging Services.

Newly elected Board Members are Matt Breen, KTIV; Kathy Gunderson, Gunderson Jewelers; and Jeff Zyzda, FiberComm LC.  Center For Siouxland is a non-profit agency that provides an array of services including: Bridges West Transitional Housing for the homeless, prescription assistance, utility assistance, a pantry, 2-1-1 Center, Senior Companion Program, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, Consumer Credit Counseling, HUD-certified Housing Counseling, and the Conservatorship/Representative Payee Program.
