November 17, 2006

Center For Siouxland’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program is collecting warm socks for area children.

Center For Siouxland collaborates with Goodwill Industries on this project by collecting the socks which then are distributed to local children at the annual Goodwill Shoe Party.

RSVP organizers are requesting new socks, preferably white athletic socks. The socks can be deposited at a number of locations including: Third Presbyterian Church, First Covenant Church, Rhonda’s Speak Easy, Sioux City Police Department, Sioux City School District Main Office, U.S. Bank Main Office, Western Iowa Telephone and Center For Siouxland.
