Tue, Jan 31st, 2012Sioux City's Noon Lions presented a grant for $3000 to Center For Siouxland at their lunch meeting on February 6, 2012.
With these funds, Center For Siouxland will assist uninsured and underinsured people with prescription costs, so that they can manage immediate or long-term health challenges.
"This is a need people have for which there are very few resources," explained Brian Mathers, Center For Siouxland's President/CEO. "It's fortunate that our community has resources like the Noon Lion's Club charity grants to help fill gaps in the safety net."
