US Bank in Sioux City Hosts Food Drive

U.S. Bank is showing support for the Sioux City, Iowa community by hosting a food drive for Center For Siouxland. The food drive takes place Aug. 4th through Aug. 9th.

“This food drive is spearheaded by the U.S. Bank Employee Development Network in Sioux City and the Center For Siouxland,” said Greg Grupp, president of U.S. Bank in Sioux City. “The
U.S. Bank team is excited to do their part to assist members of our community who are in need. Area residents are welcome to donate non-perishable food items at any of the three U.S. Bank locations during branch hours. Donations can also be made on Aug. 9th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Fareway grocery stores and at the Sioux City Explorers baseball game. Volunteers from U.S. Bank and the Center for Siouxland will be at Fareway stores and the baseball game to collect the donations.”

Fareway grocery stores in Sioux City are located at:

• 1730 Pierce St.
• 4016 Indian Hills Dr. 
• 2328 Transit Ave.
• 404 War Eagle Dr.

A Fareway grocery store is also located at 700 1st St. in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. 

Lewis and Clark Park, home of your Sioux City Explorer’s is located at 3400 Line Drive in Sioux City. The donated items will be collected from 6 p.m. until game time inside the entryway gate. Tickets to the Sioux City Explorers game on August 9th vs. the Wichita Wingnuts are available by calling 277-WINS or by stopping the Explorers Box Office. 

All food donations will be presented to the Center For Siouxland, which is located at 715 Douglas St. in Sioux City.
