Senior Companion Program

The Senior Companion Program is a service initiative though which people age 60 and older provide assistance and friendship to elderly individuals who are homebound and, generally live alone. Senior Companions serve adults who are either homebound; handicapped, physically, mentally, or socially in need of assistance; and/or possibly at risk of institutionalization.  Senior Companions not only provide services that frail elderly need to live independently, they also help make the lives of the people they serve less lonely.
